Very amazing restaurant! One of the best fried chicken places you can find in Harlem. Highly recommended
First time trying their food. I ordered Pan Fried Thigh which was good. The cornbread had no taste.
Ordered a 3 piece for delivery and specifically noted not to send the breast part of the chicken because I find it to be very dry and difficult for me to swallow
Well guess? what they sent the breast after paying $41 in total you would think that the workers can read special instructions SMh

We were so disappointed that the cornbread were burnt 😔 I’m disappointed that they served it. Im curious if we walked in, will they still give that burnt cornbread?
The okra had good flavor yesterday my husband said.

This place is truly a hidden gem 💎! The food was a 10/10. My fried chicken was hot and fresh 😋. I ordered mac and cheese, greens and sweet potatoes! But the star of the show was the sweet tea! If you are ever in Harlem, please visit this place, you will not be disappointed!
The catfish was definitely a repeat. It was so good. The collard greens were seasoned to perfection. The cornbread was lacking. What fried chicken is great. While everyone was so friendly, it was disappointing to have spent $70 dollars and not get all of our food. We were missing items. We came from Brooklyn, so there was no going right back to make it right. I did call, and no one answered, which again was disappointing..
I visit Charles a few times. The food was delicious. I put an order in for Thanksgiving fried turkey wings. Spoke to the lady she said it would be ready at 2:30. Drove from Queens to Harlem arrived at 2:28 PM. It wasn’t ready. But didn’t wait too long when they gave me the pan of turkey wings, I said to them, this is fried turkey wings and the lady behind the counter said yes ma’am fried turkey wings. Get home open up the pan and I have smothered turkey wings. How disappointed I was to drive from Queen to Manhattan and Thanksgiving traffic for some damn smothered turkey wings that I could’ve made at home . Try to get in touch with the lady that I spoke to over the phone. Never got a response back. I have not been there since. Very unhappy customer
Pan-Fried Chicken made to perfection. The eatery is for take out only. The sizzling of the chicken frying can be heard as you enter, the wonderful aroma fills your heart with joy as you order the chicken breast that is savory and tasty.
The Mac and cheese is decent at best. The other side orders look appetizing.
Definitely recommend this eatery for anyone craving some good fried chicken.
